In the beginning of my career, I entered the magazine industry by way of photo editor at Seventeen.
I spent my first few years curating the pages of the top selling teen publication in the country. I worked with designers and editors and touched all photography assignments, from ordering the items on Beyonce’s Cover shoot rider to producing all front of book stills shoots in Hearst’s in house studio, Studio D. I even dabbled in styling for the fashion and food pages.
This is where I developed my creative eye - working with legendary photographers, stylists, agencies and stock houses - learning to tell stories in the editorial style.
