The Opportunity

As part of broader diversity and professional artist engagement initiatives, M·A·C Pro hosted an exclusive Black History Month masterclass in Atlanta focused on advanced complexion techniques for deeper skin tones and to preview their new color correctors and launch of the POWDER KISS LIP + CHEEK MOUSSE collection. The event aimed to celebrate Black artistry, provide elevated Pro education, and strengthen community ties with Atlanta-based beauty professionals.

My Role

Photographed the live masterclass featuring Global Director of Artistry Romero Jennings, produced event visuals, and created promotional graphics and social assets to extend the impact beyond the room. From marketing materials to post-event social storytelling, I ensured the creative execution reflected intention, nuance, and cultural relevance.

Creative Approach

The visual direction honored depth, undertone precision, and the artistry of melanin-rich skin. Imagery focused on texture, complexion refinement, and intimate learning moments to reinforce the message that thoughtful base work is foundational to great artistry. Social materials were clean, elevated, and education-forward, which aligned with M.A.C.’s professional authority while centering community celebration during Black History Month.

Impact

• Strengthened brand relationships with Atlanta beauty professionals
• Amplified representation through intentional imagery and storytelling
• Supported corporate diversity commitments through authentic, community-centered execution
